My Online Lessons

Many online piano lessons simply consist of pre-recorded videos which are designed for students to watch individually, without any support and guidance from their teacher.

My online piano lessons are completely interactive and one to one, they’re just like the experience and teaching style you’d get from in-person lessons, but delivered online. This allows students to learn in the comfort of their own home, saving on travelling time and costs, whilst also allowing students to learn in a familiar environment. The video to the right gives an example of one of my typical online lessons.

The section below has more details about how my lessons are run. Also take a look at the testimonials page to hear from students about how my online lessons have worked for them.

I teach both children and adults, from complete beginners up to and including diploma level.

How My Online Lessons Are Run

I have 3 cameras: a standard forward-facing camera for when I’m talking to a student; a camera facing my piano keyboard so that pupils can watch me demonstrate; and a document camera so that I can teach theory and show notation of scores. I can mix these together for an even more interactive learning experience.

Forward Facing Camera

This is a typcial view of my forward facing camera. I use it for when I’m talking to students.

Keyboard Camera

have a camera poised over my piano keyboard so that pupils can watch me demonstrate playing techniques.

Document Camera

This is a typical view from my document camera. It allows me to teach theory and show notation of scores.

My Online Lesson Requirements

To benefit from one of my one to one online interactive lessons, you’ll need the following.
